I'm not a hippie or PETA advocate, in fact, I despise PETA, but it makes my stomach churn and irritates me when anyone says we are overreacting to the oil spill problem http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/05/03/gulf-oil-spill-photos-ani_n_560813.html This is not a small problem, or an overreaction. This is a serious crime against nature.
If BP gets away with this, I'll... do nothing because I can't do anything against a multi-billion dollar corporation. :/
Am I the only one thinking more of the value of all that oil being lost and the costs of fixing this than the environmental damages? Yeah I know environment damage costs too, just that I think "Oh shit this is going to cost a lot to fix" rather than "Those poor animals!".
:ohdear:
Damn, thats bad...
Those poor animals and fish :frown:
:( that dolphin looks like its smiling.

Yeah I know environment damage costs too, just that I think "Oh shit this is going to cost a lot to fix" rather than "Those poor animals!".
That is a worrying issue, considering the economic damage that goes along with this. AFAIK a few fisheries and other businesses reliant upon the Gulf are suing for damages to their profits, and that's only so far. BP says they're going to pay for all of the clean up, but the extensiveness of the damage to an entire ecosystem makes me wonder if they will be able to afford it, even with their ridiculous amounts of money.
Oh man, the War Galleons :(
It's sad but I'm happy because I can't wait to invest in BP when their stocks cost $6. Then I'll make a fortune.
Why film these animals when they could be fucking helping them?
It's sad but I'm happy because I can't wait to invest in BP when their stocks cost $6. Then I'll make a fortune.
You really think you're the only one who has fiqured that out? I doubt the stocks are gonna get that much up anymore.
"IT THERE FAWLT DAT BEE PEE'S OIL WELL SUFFRED @ MEKAHNEEKUL PRAHBLUM TAT MIT AVE BIN KAUZD BI TEH ANEEMULS!" Seriously, whoever's saying it's absolutely all of BP's fault and totally not just a mechanical failure is pants-on-head retarded.
shows how much destruction humans can cause, accidental or not.
I'm going to be so fucking depressed if I hear that the camera people just left the bird to bury in the oil.
They probably did, to publish that film, and let people know that BP is evil, and they are good people (Who leave poor birds to die horribly)

They are saying it might not be plugged until Christmas, and about 500,000 gallons is pouring out every day and has been since it began about 6 weeks ago.

They are just sleeping!
I don't even care about all the loss of oil, but I hate that hundreds of animals are dying everyday because of this.
;22367550']I don't even care about all the loss of oil, but I hate that hundreds of animals are dying everyday because of this.
This. If BP end up just evading this disaster, I will be VERY angry. I'll send them a letter telling them how angry I am.
