Syria conflict: Rebels set up internment camp for IS defectors
A secret internment camp for former Islamic State militants and their families has been established in Syria.
Some 300 defectors and captured combatants, including many Europeans, are being held at the camp operated by the rebel group Jaysh al-Tahrir.
Its commander, Mohammad al-Ghabi, told the BBC: "We tried to rehabilitate them and alter their state of minds."
"Those who wished to return home were allowed to call their embassies and co-ordinate with them through us."
Among the group are French, Dutch and Polish nationals, as well as foreign fighters from North Africa and across the Middle East and Central Asia.
The men, women and children are being held in a village in rural northern Syria.
Does this camp have any international observers on it to ensure that no-one is being used or abused?
Because interment camps and 'altering peoples' state of mind' always makes me nervous.
I hope this works, potentially changing the minds of those who buy into the radicalisation.

No international observers is in Syria for anything, so it's a no.
As for 'altering peoples' state of mind'? Well most ISIS supports are indoctrinated into their dogma. Even with those who get reality check and successfully leave, they are still indoctrinated and you never know when they'll switch back because they might start feeling guilt as if they were cowards to leave. So rehabilitation efforts are pretty much mandatory, which would need a lot of psychological work.
And this will be absolutely necessary to be done in both Syria and Iraq. Afterall, there are millions of Syrians and Iraqis that fully support or had supported ISIS. You got to rehabilitate and reintroduce those people back to post-ISIS society in Syria and Iraq, otherwise insurgency will never stop.

since the place is meant for ISIS members, i honestly wouldn't give a shit if the camp was a fucking hellhole worse than Auschwitz and Guantanamo combined
let's face it, people that are honestly buying that fucking disgusting, barbaric load of horseshit that is preached as 'islam' by the daeshbags are a lost cause and can most likely never be fully rehabilitated back into civilized human beings
only the people that they have forced to join in against their will can be saved

Considering the other kinds of stories that come out of there this is surprisingly humane, unless there is something not being said here.
Yeah don't expect those guys to be let off so easily. Many of the Rebel groups no matter how good they say are,how downtrodden they claim, they'll execute anymore who slightly disagrees with them. You could be a civilian who didn't want to give your food to one these jihadist groups and they'll either force you at gunpoint are kill you. Unless they show these 300 fighters going back home or being reformed I'm taking on the assumption of how these groups work is that they'll be killed.

This is a civil war where many of the so called-FSA units are multi-national terrorists looking for a fight rather than wanting to free Syria.
And their families
Dont forget that part in the OP
I think he included them too in his pro mass murder and torture rant.

you're actually advocating that this place be worse than Auschwitz, the single worst violation of all Human rights in history
and Muslims are the barbaric ones

its totally okay because this time, we really are putting the bad people in the camp!
nevermind that everyone thought that last time, we really are doing it right this time

We know they're bad because the smartest man in the world told us so!
the innocent people thrown into Auschwitz just for being considered 'non-aryan' never raped, tortured and slaughtered innocent people like ISIS members do on a daily basis
just saying that if there is a group of people that would have deserved to rot in nazi death camps instead of all those innocents, it would be ISIS

the innocent people thrown in german death camps were also thought to have deserved it too. all i'm saying is that it's incredibly easy to whip a population up into a frenzy and convince them that X group of people deserve whatever horrible treatment their government is dolling out. we all need to learn from history, and this is a prime time to show what we've learned.

So your argument is that the Societ POWs did deserve it.

Nobody deserves to rot in a Nazi death camp and if you think so you're actually insane
You also proceeded to claim Islam was the problem in the second half of your post, which is eerily ironic to a few other moments in history.
Most Soviet POWs were draftees captured on Soviet soil
so no
A large number of ISIS fighters are local Sunnis from western Iraq, where ISIS is located.
This is totally beside the point anyway because putting people in "a fucking hellhole worse than Auschwitz and Guantanamo combined" is unjustifiable no matter who they are.
hold up
how in the fucking fuck do you spin
"the ass-backwards retarded interpretation of islam that ISIS members believe in is fucking barbaric"
as
"hurr durr islam is the problem"
also what the fuck, when did i say that the soviet POWs deserved to get thrown in Auschwitz either
fuck no
none of those people deserved to be there or in any of the death camps
none
I truly don't get it. Whenever I bring up a topic about this war, I always get somebody that argues for war crimes and crimes against humanity for whatever reason.

Well their barbaric interpretation of Islam is... Also Islam. There kind of isn't one certain "perfect Islam" anywhere to find, so yeah, ISIS is not much less Islamic that Saudi Arabia.

Thankfully, most of the other parts of the world that partake in Abrahamic religions (US included to an extent) have become civilized enough to realize that beating people to death with rocks for minor grievances (or killing them in general) is kinda fucked up.
