Alright. I've got 2 questions here. I'm running on an ATI Radeon x1950 Pro, Window 7 Professional. Its probably a driver problem. If anyone would care to show me a link to the Windows 7 drivers for the ATI Radeon x1950 Pro (Whats the R2.0, by the way? Is it a whole different motherboard?) , For audio ect, I'd be grateful. Also, my brother is claiming that my USB ports are old, and cannot connect the Microsoft Lifechat to his PC through the back USB ports (I have a few at the front, would that make a difference?) Further help would be appreciated. Furthermore, I wish you a happy new year.
Here is the driver for the x1950 (There's no Windows 7 driver but the Vista one should work), for audio and what not, we need to know the motherboard and/or the name of the sound card/chip. As for the USB ports, there's 2 different versions of USB ports, USB 1.0 and USB 2.0, his thing might be using USB 2.0 and your USB ports are 1.0, try the ones in the front in case they are different.
I've tried the Vista drivers. I'm still getting the same error and stuff, with the blue screen etc. The USB ports, thank you. (Although when I slot it in the wrong way the computer just shuts down... Which I tend to do alot.) I just realized I got the motherboard mixed up and the Radeon was a graphs. Sorry. The motherboard is the ASRock Dualcore-4-SATA (I'm still not sure what the R2.0 is.) And I cant find a Windows 7 driver for that either. I've tried the Audio driver. And I think the sound card is built into the motherboard. Thank you again.
