Really hate the pre-order content for this game. Its a massive fuck you to fans who don't want to pre-order. Honestly, I'm not pre-ordering a damn thing after how badly I got screwed by AC3.
Other than that, looks like a great game, and one of the few REAL horror entries we've had in awhile.

There's some really glowing reviews out there too like Jim Sterlings.

Yeah, look at how that turned out. I can't read any review without taking it with a grain of salt now. Since apparently straight up lying to consumers is how business is done now.

Seeing this makes me believe that the PC version was what they put the most effort into. I say this as I've noticed that Game Informer tends to give lower but still "good" scores to games that are better on PC.

I actually liked Colonial Marines. As a shooter who's sole purpose is to kill some time by shooting some shit, and absolutely nothing more. "It worked" is the only positive thing I can say about it, literally every other aspect was utterly mediocre and forgettable at best. :v:

Aside from the shady dealings and the outright lying that went on, the biggest problem was the game was that it WAS a mediocre and forgettable experience. Especially with gearbox touting that it was going to be the definitive aliens experience. Something both alien fans and gaming fans could get behind. I think it failed miserably.
