It's horribly made, and has pitiful airflow. I've never seen a well made NZXT case.

I've got the Tempest and it's perfectly roomy. I don't know why everyone on Facepunch is an Antec fanboy but from the several I've had NZXT is pretty damn solid.
I'm not an antec fanboy, I'm a quality fanboy. Antec, Lan Li, Cooler Master, Corsair, Silverstone, etc.
maybe it's something to do with the 300 trouncing the alpha in quality, cooling, price (more fans for your money) and, depending on how you lean, looks?

That's why I picked the NZXT.
Case isn't all about looks. Airflow and construction quality is what's important. And the 300 dominates any NZXT in both of those areas.
NZXT has never been that great. I'd go with the more recent antec *hundred series or the lian-li lancool series.
get a coolermaster, they have nice looking cases and they're good quality too.
I personally like SOME not all of NZXT's case's.But I defiantly consider others as-well.
I just don't know why you'd get a Lian-Li unless you were planning on hosting a whole server network. If there can be too much of a good thing, airflow included...
It's terrible.
looks yes! cable management, quality NO

the 300 looks better in person IMO or as above post says, get regular 300 and new fans, but it'll cost you more

It looks better then the Antec 300. But I've loved NZXT since I got my NZXT Tempest, great airflow. Antec is a pretty good company, but it depends how much you want to spend on a case.
I currently have the two computers, one in an antec 300, the other in an NZXT alpha. I can very well say that the Antec 300 is a superior case, and that you should get it.
I've only ever owned one NZXT case and it was horrible. I don't think I'd ever buy an NZXT case again unless they could really convince me they'd improved the build quality and design.
that case sucks. nzxt only has one good case and it's expensive. [editline]12:54PM[/editline] oh wait, wrong company. no good cases.
I want something stylish, and 2 giant fans in the front of the computer don't exactly look great. That's why I picked the NZXT.
Antec 300 is stylish. The two 120mm fans are not giant. 120mm are common size for fans nowadays so if you think those are giant then you can stick with 20mm. You barely even see the fans too. They are behind a grill and a filter.
Just get the damn NZXT. Everyone telling you to get another brand has probably never used NZXT before. Their cases are nothing like their power supplies. My HUSH weighs more, and feels a hell of alot sturdier than my friends 300.

And bad design for cable management. otherwise it's a nice case actually

That be my suggestion for a case. Edit:Whoever disagreed needs to look at the Beta's cable management compared to the 300.
