What Russian drinks did you try?
Kvass is awesome drink, much better and healthy than Coca-Cola or other western chemical shit drinks. It has such a deep taste, it's very delicious. It's very popular in Russia.

Sbiten is prepared in two forms: winter hot sbiten and summer cool sbiten. Sbiten is prepared with natural herbs, honey and spices. So it's non-chemical, natural and absolutely healthy.
I tried cool sbiten and it's the most awesome drink I've tried in my life. It's just so delicious, it has such refreshing awesome taste! The problem is that sbiten is very rare drink even in Russia, so if you meet sbiten is restaurant, order it immediately.

Kissel is a viscous drink, and it tastes very good when prepared with proper berries. The most delicious is cranberry kissel.

I am Russian, and I use to drink Kvass and Kissel regularly, both of them are absolutely wonderful when prepared properly, Kvass can at times resemble beer due to it's remotely similar preparation method. Sbiten on other hand is relatively alien to me, it must indeed be very rare.
wasnt there just another thread about alcohol?
This thread is dedicated to non-alcoholic drinks.
Also, I would also like to mention Mors, which is made of berry juice, mixed in different proportions with water.

Getting awfully stereotypical, aren't we?
Once again, I am Russian, and I am extremely minimalistic alcohol wise.
I am living next to Russia and I am very maximalistic alcohol wise.
I have a bottle of Kvass standing right next to me.
I do drink Kvass and Kissel a lot but I've never ever ever ever heard of Sbiten.
Also I rarely ever drink alcohol and I'm russian.
Why is that EVERY single thread you post is about Russia? You always get banned too. (that's not moderation prediction, just saying)
Wow. I wanna try that Kvass stuff.
Anyone know if you can buy it in Australia?
I thought kissel is common, I have drinked kvass. And ofcourse vodka on monthly basis
I haven't had any of these. I'd be willing to try given the opportunity though. They look good.

You're so clever and witty, I hope I grow up just like you...whenever you grow up that is.
I want to learn Russian and visit it some day :(
Find a new goal in life, it's cold as fuck here.
Stolichnaya and Russian Standard always have a place on my shelf.

I love kvass. It is the best drink to ever grace the world.
Kvass is brilliant - if you ever have a chance to taste some home-made kvass - i.e. in a restaurant - go for it =)
I tried Sbiten, because contrary to popular belief, it isn't rare, or difficult to make.

My dad brews beer. Ill see if he can make some Kvass
None. Why drink Russian drinks when I got American Beer!
I had this really awesome Vodka a few months ago, can't remember the name but. It was 50% proof and had a nice burn to it. Unlike Smirnoff, it didn't make me throw up :D

Because American beer makes you piss like a mule and barf like a dog, and tastes like shit compared to Vodka.

Same.
Kvass sounds damn good.
Also, not all American Beer is bad guys. Pisswater like Budweiser isn't even American. It's mass produced.
Local breweries are almost always fantastic and Sierra Nevada is a VERY good beer that I like quite a bit.
I'm into dark aged ale myself.
