Rob Ford takes leave as new drug video emerges
A second video of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford smoking what has been described as crack-cocaine by a self-professed drug dealer was secretly filmed in his sister's basement early Saturday morning. The clip, which was viewed by two Globe and Mail reporters, shows Mr. Ford taking a drag from a long copper-coloured pipe, exhaling a cloud of smoke, his right arm convulsing. The footage is part of a package of three videos the dealer said was surreptitiously filmed around 1:15 a.m., and which he says he is now selling for "at least six figures." Mr. Ford declined to answer questions from The Globe and Mail. Less than an hour after The Globe asked the mayor for comment, his lawyer, Dennis Morris, said Mr. Ford is planning to "take a break" from the mayoral election. In one of the clips shown to The Globe and Mail on Wednesday, the mayor rapidly shifts his weight back and forth on the spot, talking into his cellphone and his right arm swinging at his side. When the camera pans around the room, a man that looks like Alessandro "Sandro" Lisi, the mayor's former driver and an accused drug-dealing extortionist, can be seen in the background. Mr. Ford's sister, Kathy, who has admitted in media interviews to being a drug addict, is sitting in front of her brother. In the last of three clips, Mr. Ford is holding the pipe and speaking to his sister.
Here we see clear involvement of Sandro Lisi and Kathy Ford, in her house -- the family is complicit, and when the police finally do lay charges, Toronto is going to be going apeshit. So, Toronto Police and OPP, when are you going to lay charges on Mayor Ford? Make sure you've got a full face-guard if you're a Torontonian, too.
I actually feel quite sorry for him. He's clearly got a problem.
That's the really depressing side of this story. Take away the political and legal shitstorm this creates. Rob Ford, the human, is trapped in a whirlwind of shit, and he's clearly not in full control of himself. And unless he bullied his sister into letting him and his drug dealer buddies come in so he can smoke crack in her basement, the family's complicit. They don't care. Rob Ford, please seriously get help. You have innocent children who are no doubt being hurt by your reckless behaviour, to say nothing of the rest of the consequences.
I still want to see any video before I'll believe their contents. Though in a way I kinda hope it's real. If he gets charges laid, he can't exactly keep up his mayoral run, and that means the right vote wouldn't be split like it is now, it'd basically guarantee John Tory a win, and I'd absolutely love that since it means I wouldn't even have to worry about Olivia Chow having a snowball's chance in hell. I do not want Chow to win the election, that'd be terrible for this city.
That's enough of this. Rob had better step down, or Toronto will be forever known as the town with that crack head mayor. Considering that Toronto is the capital of Ontario, this is not going over well.
Not even Barry Leighton-Jones could paint a clown this sad.
Oh you Canadians with your crack smoking mayors and your chilled out attitudes
Toronto is fucked, we have a horrible track record for mayors, first David Miller the mentally deficient eco-warrior, then the crack smoking Rob Ford, and Olivia Chow is certain to win, so yaaay tolls to get downtown...
*facepalm* Welp time to not watch anything on TV for the next few weeks.
I'll vote for ford.
Legalise it 420 smoke canada

I want to move to Toronto just so I can vote for Rob Ford. I like this guy.
The drug dealer who approached The Globe said that the audio on the three clips was not available because the speaker on his phone was broken when he recorded the footage. I like this guy.
Wut.
I do not want Chow to win the election, that'd be terrible for this city.
But you're da commie! Shouldn't you love Chow?
But you're da commie! Shouldn't you love Chow?
I was rather politically inept when I was 14. [editline]1st May 2014[/editline]
Toronto is fucked, we have a horrible track record for mayors, first David Miller the mentally deficient eco-warrior, then the crack smoking Rob Ford, and Olivia Chow is certain to win, so yaaay tolls to get downtown...
God I hope not. Chow has downtown, but Etobicoke and Scarborough are both split between Ford and Tory. All Ford needs to do is fuck off and Tory wins.
Who's votin for the Dominatrix running for Mayor? She'll "Whip the Town of Toronto into shape" Rob Ford or Dominatrix.. hmm
Who's votin for the Dominatrix running for Mayor? She'll "Whip the Town of Toronto into shape" Rob Ford or Dominatrix.. hmm
At least you know she'll respect safewords when screwing the city, unlike Mayor Bumblefuck. :v:
*facepalm* Welp time to not watch anything on TV for the next few weeks.
I stopped watching TV a long while ago, nothing but the same shit all the time anyway.
