Grunge Music Video I Directed (nudity) - General

It's ok... just the singing could be better.

Had to keep most of the hints subtle to avoid trouble. Other than that, theres theme's of purity, corruption, innocence, sex. The silver girl was supposed be dragging the crazy guy away from violence, but in the edit I decided it worked better if[B] he[/B] changed [B]her[/B] with that apple at the end.

I had a lot of trouble understanding that part.

We didn't show it happening because a) It would have looked like cheesy fx and b) I didn't really want to portray the band as murderers. This way it's just left open.

The vocalist looks older than he think's he is.

No offense, but, it's just kinda boring and bombarded with slow-mo, filters and bad acting. I could accept the mediocre vocals, if the video was better. Pros - the woman's make-up / costume is very nice.

And, as mentioned, better acting would be a gigantic plus. I think if the vocalist didn't wave / wobble / move around so much in front of the camera, it'd help. A bit more static. I'm not trying to trash your efforts, it's a nice attempt, but personally I didn't like it. Might I add, the intro with the diary was very nice.. so it wasn't all bad.

To me the directing ruined the whole thing. Could have been done a lot better. It was all over the place and just didn't flow that well. It didn't capture my interest at all and if I weren't to be criticizing this, I would have just skipped onto the next video within 20 seconds. Also the effects gave me a headache, they really don't add anything at all.

I rather liked it. Song isn't bad and video wasn't either in my opinion.

The guitar was not quite in tune, and I think that it ruined alot. Otherwise, nice cut!

The effects make you expect something like a Jon Lajouie video - yet another YouTube music video. But then you realize...it's actually serious. Feels weird.
