All of you should have animated avatars, like fucking now. I'm just saying, and I'm sure we'd all agree, a gif of a fat woman falling over is funnier than a picture of one.

I believe the filesizes were also decreased to 102.4 KB from the original bigger size. Garry had already planned this.

When I get gold member I'm just going to still keep my static avatar. You don't need something animated for it to be better.

Mine's supposed to be animated but it doesn't want to, I can't be bothered to fix it.

The point is that we've been here long enough and contributed enough to have gold members. Trying to rush getting gold member status is a retarded thing to do, it's just going to end up with higher chances of you getting banned.
