Personally I thought Napoleon was a brilliant game
Napoleon was my favourite of the gunpowder era total war games. Dunno if I'll still play it once Shogun 2 comes out though.

I love them both, but after playing Medieval 2 I couldn't go back to Rome. The turn-based part of Medieval 2 just felt much more playable (even though the differences admittedly aren't that big).
I don't know how you guys do it, I can't successfully do anything right in Rome.
The instructions are difficult as hell to understand, that doesn't mean I'll stop playing it just means it's gonna take some time for me to get used to it.
Rome is the easiest of the total war series...
I just got into empire a little while ago so this is good.

Do the same thing I did in rome...
I built my army up fast as hell and then I tried to burn & loot all the other villages for maximum money since I didn't understand the economic ways on that game...
in short. Kill your enemies and steal their money before your money runs low.
As soon as i buy medieval :saddowns:
