So I was watching Netflix and when the movie was over I undid fullscreen and I noticed that my taskbar is stretched past the edge of my monitor screen.
I tried changing the screen resolution and then changing it back in hopes it will fix itself but it did not.
I tried messing with the screen size in the monitor options but that is not it.
I'd take a picture to show but Print Screen doesn't work like that and I have no camera.
Press auto adjust, or is it a tv being used as a monitor? Are you using a higher resolution than native? Is it a LCD or CRT?
It's a CRT Samsung Monitor.
I've always used this resolution 1280x1024 and has never been a problem until now.
Where is this auto adjust?
I changed the Hertz to 75 and it seems to be somewhat normal now.
That was in case you had a LCD monitor.
Seems to be okay now...I wonder how my Hertz was changed to 85.
I don't see how changing the refresh rate changed it's size...
I'm not saying it didn't, as I know shit all about CRT's, I sorta missed them, I'm young...
It just makes no sense to me.
Anyone know why?
I think, basically, It has different values stored for where the screen needs to be depending on resolution. 1280x1024x85hz is different than 1280x1024x75hz. I think that's how it works.
A refresh rate, to me, means how many times it refresh's the page, measured in hertz
How often the screen updates...
I don't really see why how fast it's updating would change it's position on the screen
It's considered a different setting, just as if you were to switch the colour bits to 16 from 32, the screen still will flash and such, despite it being the same resolution.
