Ok so I got a new phone that lets me get internet through the usb so I decided to try it on my computer with windows 7. It didn't work. so I tried it with my crappy laptop that has windows xp and it did.(I'm on it right now) The phone is a samsung solstice using the samsung modem v2 and pc studio. when I tried it on my windows 7 computer it said connected in the pc studio but when I opened firefox it didn't work. same thing with the laptop but it did work when I opned firefox.(3.6Mbps FTL(for the lose)). Why is this happening?
also sorry for any mistyped words, I broke my finger and it's very difficult to type.
7 is still fairly new, it simply might not be supported with that software yet. Have you tried running the software in XP mode?
hmm I didnt think about that.
Yeah just wait for few weeks and it should pop up. At least most thing work on 7 after release not like Vista.
Nope, ok here is what is happening on the windows 7 computer.
I connect through my phone through the software and it says connected, then I look down at the network connection in the taskbar thing and it says connected to 3.6Mbps(rofl) but when I open firefox or chrome it says that the page is taking to long to respond.:bang:

But it also connects perfectly fine on the 10 year old laptop.:buddy:
maybe this will help, ok the laptop it says i'm connected through ppp but on the windows 7 computer it says modem.
