Ive asked it before but ive updated my build and this is going to be it. I just dont know if i have a good enough power supply and whatnot. http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=10622391
If by good enough you mean, have enough power, then yes, it'll be fine, for your current build, if you mean power efficiency or something, then idk.
I mean will the power supply be able to handle all of the parts
I mean will the power supply be able to handle all of the parts
Like, does it have all the outputs you need?
I mean will the power supply be able to handle all of the parts
Yes. That should only draw ~450-500W at most. And you don't need the thermal paste.
Why dont i?
The stock heatsink already has thermal paste applied.
Would there be an issue if i decided to apply some anyways?
You don't need to.
because you're using the stock cooler which comes with paste preapplied also you don't need that much in the PSU, just get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341016 it's cheaper, it's still and excellent brand and it's modular which means you can take out any cables you don't need for better cable management and thus better airflow EDIT feck ninja'd and where'd my automerge go also the purpose of the paste is only to bridge the gaps between the heatsink and the CPU so too much and the heat isn't getting transferred to the heatsink properly
-snip-
Would there be an issue if i decided to apply some anyways?
If you apply too much, you end up insulating your CPU, and it'll overheat faster. you can buy it, just incase, but don't use it, unless you accidentally rub all the stuff that's already there off.
alright ty for the tip, and im keeping my PSU, i dont mind spending the extra ten for more room
room? you're being given tons of room as it is, 500W could power most single card systems also if you get the rebate on the OCZ then you're getting a pretty fucking cheap PSU
Well, i will be eventually getting another card to crossfire.
Wow, this is actually a pretty good build. You've spent money where it matters, PSU. That case is great, althougth a midtower :P. Mouse , keyboard, and headset are :< though.
Fork over a couple of bucks and get a decent mouse
