You don't need 12 GB of ram, 6 will do fine for a LONG time. There is no reason to get 12GB of ram. Personally, i'd get two of those HDDs instead of the extra ram.

8GB RAM won't work with an i7, you need Triple channel. Get 6GB RAM.

As your build is pretty high end I would suggest getting a smaller, better SSD. You can fit windows 7 and a few applications on a 30GB drive easily, take a look at the: OCZ Agility 2, OCZ Vertex 2 or Corsair Force drives as these are the new generation and are much faster than current SSD's. See if any of the 30GB's are priced similarly to your 64GB Nova.

There isn't much of a performance increase going from an i5 to an i7 in gaming. i7s are better for rendering. Games don't really take advantage of the features i7s have.

I'm going to be using it for a lot of rendering so the i7 es good. Ty for your comments I updated accordingly.

Damn, that's a lot of storage space. 3TB? I can't even fill a 750GB. But then again, I don't do rendering and shit like that.
