There, amid the grist and gossip about the inner workings of the campaign — and some pedestrian tidbits about Podesta's personal life — was irrefutable proof that UFOs were on the radar of one of Washington's best known power brokers. In a June 25, 2014 email disclosed by WikiLeaks, the late NASA astronaut Edgar Mitchell requested "a conversation with you and President Obama regarding the next steps in extraterrestrial disclosure for the benefit of our country and our plant." At the time Podesta was a counselor to Obama. And he responded, via his rep, on July 18 of that year. "John would like take this meeting alone first before involving the President, so let me ask him if he can do this in August," she wrote. "He'll be in town Aug 11-22. Is Dr. Mitchell planning to be in town then?" Mitchell, as a subsequent email revealed, could not make it and requested a Skype sitdown. It's not clear if that happened.

And while the Obama Administration has tend to take a more tongue-in-cheek approach to the whole issue, Clinton has signaled she'll take all this far more seriously. "There's enough stories out there that I don't think everybody is just sitting in their kitchen making them up," she said in a radio interview.
Way to bury the lede. Far down in the story is this:
And while the Obama Administration has tend to take a more tongue-in-cheek approach to the whole issue, Clinton has signaled she'll take all this far more seriously. with everything else that has gone on this year fuck it i'd totally believe we'll see disclosure in 2017
I am a-okay with my tax dollars being used in the pursuit of aliens. [editline]31st October 2016[/editline] Alien occupation sounds more preferable to a Trump presidency when I think about it.
"There's enough stories out there that I don't think everybody is just sitting in their kitchen making them up," she said in a radio interview.
Does she believe in ghosts too?
Does she believe in ghosts too?
Yeah, the ghost of a demonic neighbor possessed her dog and told her to kill the people in Benghazi, so I'd assume she believes in ghosts.
I don't blame him. If I was in a position to find out about it, I'd do it
I am a-okay with my tax dollars being used in the pursuit of aliens. How much longer till we can join the Galactic Federation?
This years election was a test to see if humanity was ready and we've failed spectacularly.
Does she believe in ghosts too?
Ghosts are a physical impossibility, aliens are not.
Does she believe in ghosts too?
To be frank extra terrestrials are much more likely than ghosts. Considering the sheer size of the known universe it's not hard to believe that there could be life of some kind else where, if not intelligent.
Aliens? Can they occupy Earth and set us straight, please?
There's most likely been MANY civilizations that have been dead for a long, long time before earth was even a planet, and there will be many many more long after our Sun consumes our planet Even if there's one civilization per galaxy, there's trillions, and there's probably hundreds in our galaxy alone
Aliens? Can they occupy Earth and set us straight, please?
"I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world. And yet, I ask" -- here comes the clincher -- "is not an alien force ALREADY among us?" -Ronald Reagan
The mail he received seemed quite loony. Its about technology from aliens to save the planet from global warming...
Aliens? Can they occupy Earth and set us straight, please?
Imagine if aliens occupied Earth and forcibly dissolved all nation states, got rid of currency, gave us knowledge, revived David Bowie, etc.
Imagine if aliens occupied Earth and forcibly dissolved all nation states, got rid of currency, gave us knowledge, revived David Bowie, etc.
Why aren't you writing movies? David Bowie returns to claim his rightful place as King Of The Aliens.
with everything else that has gone on this year fuck it i'd totally believe we'll see disclosure in 2017
I think the Noosphere broke.
Why aren't you writing movies?
Who said I'm not?
David Bowie returns to claim his rightful place as King Of The Aliens.
Sshhhh!!!!
I remember watching a documentary a couple of days ago about WW2 and plane technology. As the US was first developing jet engines in the desert it would test its prototype jet plane by sticking a pilot with a gorilla mask. It was designed to make sure that all the training pilots, who were then using propellers, would be so surprised that they wouldn't believe it themselves if they ever came across this prototype. They'd go back to their commanding officers telling them a gorilla was flying a plane without a propeller and they'd get sent to the psych ward. Little did the propeller pilots know, that this was just a psy op to keep jet engines a secret in the older days and the shrinks would explain to the pilot trainees that they obviously saw a hallucination. They'd reply by saying, "How can a gorilla fly a plane without a propeller at that? You were obviously hallucinating due to oxygen deprivation." I actually found the wiki of one of the guys from the documentary (under the personality part): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Woolams This UFO thing seems like an extension of a similar psy op rumor of how aliens are conveniently flying near the Western Desert region, conveniently near a bunch of military bases starting around the 1950s onward where they are testing high tech planes.

See if the pattern matches in the following way - did the UFO sightings take place before WW2?

But yea, its probably a remnant of a psy op on the scale of the red scare. [editline]1st November 2016[/editline]
if sightings were constrained to just the american south west i would agree with you
I think that can be explained with the nocebo effect, people around the desert are reporting UFO's and i have no reason to think the UFO's are restricting themselves to the desert for some reason therefore i now am more easily convinced to what i saw was a UFO even though i live in middle suburbia.
See if the pattern matches in the following way - did the UFO sightings take place before WW2?
there have been unusual, unexplainable aircraft or lights seen before, during, and after the war, though yes the majority of what we consider UFOs today were seen after WW2.
See if the pattern matches in the following way - did the UFO sightings take place before WW2?
Did the concept UFO exist before WW2? if we flatten out any cultural references then UFOs are mentioned since recorded history, heck i distinctly remember a UFO sighting being painted in a stone age painting... (even though we can now explain it as a star that probably went supernova, for them it would be a UFO)

[editline]1st November 2016[/editline] a lot of the sightings around area 51 and nellis AFB are likely secret airforce craft, but to say all alleged sightings are secret airforce craft underestimates just how many sightings there are across the world

And I'm down with that.

I think the first 'modern' UFO's happened during World War 2. US air crews called them "Foo Fighters" and both sides assumed these objects were secret weapons belonging to the other side. The prevailing idea in the Government is that it was just war stress or atmospheric phenomenon.
