Just finished and tested/trimmed, only crashed a few times so far but it took it like a champ. I spent around 5 hours total in construction, fairly simple design, super light weight compared to what I normally fly. It's nearly 4 am and I need to get some sleep. I'll try and get a video of it and maybe put a camera on it tomorrow. PLEASE post complete BOM.
Then make it chase a cat!
Then tell us where to buy the BOM.
That's nice, i'd like to see it in action..
I'll finish editing the video I shot yesterday later and post it up when I get home along with some more pictures.

(~$10-$20) The motors are ' S107-16 17 For Syma S105G S107 S107G RC Helicopter '. (about $14 for a set of 4)
I quickly fashioned up a front nave light using some magnet wire and an 0806 SMT LED. I may add a few more later. I've also gotten a bit better at flying this thing around after running about 10-15 battery charges through it, each lasts about 7 minutes. yo should create landing gear son
ok dont
ok dont
You mean like these I already made? I took them off because I don't feel they are worth the added weight. In fact, I will probably start over on a new frame for this shortly to reduce weight even further. For content sake, here is a older picture of my larger quad. I'm collecting video from flying this, I'll have some new content from it to post soon I hope.
How do you use the chip you have there, do you have to program it yourself?
It looks like it needs more power. Not very controlled.
To remove the jello effect when recording, sand back the blades a bit, check that the blades are balanced too.
To remove the jello effect when recording, sand back the blades a bit, check that the blades are balanced too.
I've never heard of sanding the blades. Seems like a rather irreversible way to balance your props but I can see it working.
Yeah not sure on the true science behind it but apparently it makes for a smoother blade and less wobble.
