As the title suggests, my budget is $1000 for a gaming PC. I already have some parts picked out, but I'm not sure if it's a good build.

I already have a hard drive. I mostly want to know if everything is compatible with everything and if the case is the right size. I'm also planning on overclocking my processor once I get it, so I would like to know what heatsink I should get.
It would be a perfect build if your budget was $500. My $600 build would be faster than that. On the bright side, at least everything there is compatible. And thank god you have a hard drive.

What about a heatsink?
What about a heatsink?
You could either use the one in the box, or buy one.
I'd get atleast a good 650w PSU if you plan to get another 570 later on (which you should honestly) or 700w would be better, may aswell get 8gb just for kicks ($20 more, why not?) and don't get a shit old case, especially for $100.
Have a look at the Fractal R3, HAF 912 Plus, CM690 II, K62 Lancool (if you like blue lights), an Antec 900 is a very poor choice of case in 2011.
And for a heatsink, if you're wanting a solid 4.5ghz'ish overclock get something like a Hyper 212 Evo, if you want something in the 5jiggas region, NH-D14/Dark rock pro.
Fractal Arc Mid is also an option.
Would this be a better power supply?
