I've been wondering how many people like the genre as much as I do. Seems that people generally take it as noise, but if it's made well it can have a sort of hidden rhythm or an atmospheric feel to it.

It's definitely not noise, but it has no emotion at all, and thus it's boring
I only listened to the last on in OP, but it sounded pretty cool, except for 1:35-1:48 when it just fucks up totally and sounds like shit. It would be pretty cool atmosphere soundtrack stuff for a neo-tokyo dystopian kind of movie I think.
It's not something I listen to for more than a few tracks- but it certainly gives me inspiration to put more effort into the drum programming in my music.
And I love Venetian Snares for teaching me that it's OK to use odd time signatures in electronic music.
