I still can't believe censored sex was removed for Aussies. Not like our heads explode if we hear or see sex.

I hope this changes in the coming years, it's quite annoying.
We will get an R18+ one day... I swear it :ohdear:
Did you know Australians can get fined up to $110,000 if you import a Refused Classification game to Australia. EG Mortal Combat
How shit's that.

Chances of actually getting caught are fairly slim though.
Dont worry us Aussies wont let you down.
Also on another note who else thinks its funny that they censor sex to the extreme degree, yet dont censor violent content like that of gears of war or Bulletstorm? obviously its better that children see people tearing each others limbs off in a orgy of blood than for them to see a natural process. (I know Aus censors violent content but nowhere near as heavily as they censor sexual themes).

We live in a world where love is sinful but violence is celebrated.

They didn't remove sex from the game, they made it so that it wasn't offered as a reward to completing a quest.

Deny it. Plus it's digital so there's no way to prove it, you can just uninstall it and they can't find shit.

Does downloading count as importing
I mean in legal terms
I never knew Australia had it THAT BAD. For fucks sake what are they thinking?

uhh they can check your hard drive, and since it's a hefty fine i'm sure they'd go the distance to do that

Don't think so. Information gets transferred trough servers all over the world, if borders counted on the internet, there would be huge import costs to browsing the internet.

There are no borders on the internet therefore it is not importing.

Well i was referring to importing boxed copies as yeah, the only way they could catch you digital is if they monitor your internet traffic i suppose.
Good Game on ABC2 were saying customs are going to be cracking down on RC games like Mortal Combat, also doesn't have a censored version so any copy would be seized.
Though getting fined doubtful, more likely just confiscating it.
Haha, brilliant move from GoG.
