After saving a word document. All the characters even spaces are one letter!

I am totally confused, I saved a document to a usb, and when i try and open it, ALL spaces and lettrs has changed to one letter! so a document that would look like this:

I like cake

would now look like this!:

kkkkkkkkkkkk

help, A CV is on there!

BTW it was an arabic doc. so the letter is arabic(not my doc either)

Seems to me like you saved it with a non-standard encoding. Open the document where you originally made it and re-save it as a different one, with unicode chosen.

What document writer are you using? Word? Openoffice? Notepad? Be more specific.

It says word document in the title.

Anyway, i think it's the encoding there is non-supported.
