I checked on office depot and all their laptops have processors that are only 2.2GHz and below
Can anyone help me find a better one that's not more than $750?

It's 2ghz, Dual core, with a faster FSB and a larger cache, thus being tons better

Gaming... I just can't afford a "gaming laptop" but it'll be a while before I buy a new one, maybe in July. I don't have 1k+ right now, but i get 1k a month and the only bill I hve is phone. (army kicks ass)

I have that laptop except with a better video card, and i max out every game i throw at it. no joke.
I have a Pavilion dv6 with a 2.2 ghz core duo with an ati 4650 and a 500 gig HD. I got it for 800 on Amazon.
I can't find another one, but this is a powerhouse, although the cpu is a bit sluggish. The gfx card is pretty much bottle-necked by it and the HD. The HD is kinda slow too, but I can play any source game on high.
