Right click on text-> click stroke-> adjust settings
for all you nubs of course.
Or if you use GIMP like me
Duplicate text layer > Select text with colour select tool > Select-Grow > Select-Feather> Fill with black

The official Borderlands font is compacta SH bold.
Go to [url]http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/efscangraphic/compacta-sh/bold/[/url]
And click on sample text. Type your text and make a printscreen. I think you can figure it out from there.
