[release]SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) -- Syracuse Police say an ambulance was stolen from a parking lot at University Hospital Saturday night by two drunk men.
Earlier, police believed that ambulance came from Syracuse University. But they now say the vehicle turned out to be an Amber ambulance.
Police say 21-year-old Brandon Ray of College Park, Maryland, and 21-year-old Kevin Mauro of Scarsdale, New York, were spotted speeding down Walnut Avenue in the ambulance with its lights on and siren blaring.
The two men later ditched the vehicle on Harrison Street. And officers were able to catch up with them on East Adams Street through the help of witnesses.
Both Ray and Mauro are charged with grand larceny and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Ray, the driver, was also charged with DWI and aggravated DWI.

Except that was a police car and they were all on Rohypnol
What would have happened if they had responded to a 999 ( 911 for you americans ) call?
