I hear ad-sounds ("omgawwd no waaay" from those smiley ads) but no window is open (though I see all kinds of ad entries in the history tab of IE ) The screen shot was taken in Firefox 4.
Looks like you've got some form of malware on your PC. I recommend you download MalwareBytes Anti Malware ([url]http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/[/url]). Run a quick scan.
Also, what antivirus do you use?
Currently Bitdefender & McAffee & SpyBot
Lol Mcaffe.
Yeah threw that one off, also I installed that anti-malware of you bbgamer360 but it didn't fix the issue... [editline]27th March 2011[/editline] Okay when I start FF in safe mode, the problem is gone. So I'll just start looking which addon causes this problem... [editline]27th March 2011[/editline] It must be one of these but I'm too lazy to check it, problem's solved :) [img]http://gyazo.com/8b3104da73e32080de74d4b52591e494.png[img] [editline]27th March 2011[/editline] Okay it still randomly crashes. I already tried reinstalling but that didn't help. [editline]27th March 2011[/editline] Goddamnit now it's back
Sorry that solution didn't work out for you. Leave it installed though, it's useful in-case any serious malware gets installed onto your PC.
Hurrah I found the fucker! [img]http://gyazo.com/72789595272c4fb1200a5785f0d97bf3.png[/img] Sometimes it shows up and sometimes it doesn't. [url=http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/781909]Found another report[/url] [editline]27th March 2011[/editline] Goddamnit I did a complete reinstall of Firefox (removed my profile where it's supposed to be located too) and it's still there... :( Anyone an idea how to fix this? :( Okay I found the addon id in "about:support" as "{44e7805c-ee79-9797-11bf-a05b7b9da8c4}", let's shred this shit! [editline]27th March 2011[/editline] Okay that didn't do anything. I navigated to the folder and opened the .dll in Notepad and deleted everything and wrote "fuck you"... Maybe that helps because the thing installing the file again & again might think that everything is still fine because the file is still there... Okay I fixed it, here's my solution I posted to the Mozilla Support site: [quote] type "about:support" in the address bar and look up the extension ID. Use it to locate the extension .dll file (For me that was C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Extensions\< Extension ID>\Components\25f3e8c0.dll ) Open the .dll in Notepad and delete everything (and write some offensive words while you're at it), save it. The extension is now braindead, the thing installing it isn't aware that it doesn't work anymore so it leaves it unaltered. [/quote]
