They don't want people to pirate stuff so they will buy it.. People like me just won't buy anything or pirate anything. Good job companies.
Nothing will happen fellow brits
There's always a way to get around to things like this.
They should just stop trying to take down sites like TPB. It's only wasting time and money to do so. This is the internet, there is always a way to get around everything, always.
Hear that...? That's the sound of proxy servers working overtime.
Demonoid is better, better quality linux distros. ( I only download linux distros, no warez here. ).

I'm half a world away, and even i can hear it.
It's the rumble of the proxy servers - it puts fear into the hearts of its enemies. They will be savagely abused, used to download extraordinarily large amounts of completely legal Linux Distribution data for those whose access, their only lifeline has been blocked.
It's not the start of the proxies, but you can see it from here.

Or, you know - they could just buy stuff instead of pirating it.
You don't even need a proxy server, the "block" is just removing it from the BT DNS server.
This is mostly harming BT more than anything.
BT are always to first to get moaned at about blocking a website.
I hope this doesn't happen, Where else am I going to get my linux distros.
Blocking TPB will totally stop piracy!
This is like blocking Google to stop terrorists from searching for bomb ingredients.

There's lots of alternatives.
This is like blocking Google to stop Child Porn.
I caught you editing your post there.
It's still a bad comparison, comparing Google to The Pirate Bay
The Pirate Bay is like <1% legal stuff
while Google is <1% illegal stuff.
How about we block google too, i mean that links to websites like the piratebay and newzbin :downs:
Its practically the same thing

Reminds me of this http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1137930
If sites that link other people to illegal content not hosted on the site are themselves illegal, then google, yahoo, bing and every other search engine should be charged too, not just select sites

And what's the point of having 12 fans when he's just gonna cover them up and put them in an enclosed wooden box?
who even uses tpb anyway
Fire up those VPNs!
At least BT isn't just conforming to their demands right away.
But where will I get ISO's of games that I own legal retail copies of but lost the disks?
