I loved that game.
Spiderman 2 on ps2 was pretty much the best movie game ever made. Although this trailer shows boss fights etc there is a lot of free roaming etc. Not to mention there were interior sections in Spiderman 2 so you can't really complain.

I'm guessing people are talking about the PS1 Spiderman 2, which was the bomb, and also had interior sequences. Oh boy I still remember fighting what was the first? boss, the shock guy or whatever
I wish the writers adapted to the fact that Spiderman is more funny when he's an asshole, like we know from the Spiderman memes.

My favourite ones are probably Spider-Man 2 and Web of Shadows. I remember being able to play them both for lengthy sessions. The other ones - screw that.
Trayarch was the only good spider-man dev.
Why the funny? Trayarch made all the GOOD spider-man games.

I pretty much agree on that, and i would assume most other people would.
Unless they played Web of Shadows for the Wii, which i tried to once, and it was horrible.
Looks like it has a bunch of stealth elements along with ass kicking. I really hope it's an open world game with a lot of other stuff to do. Namely; different costumes(like, fuckloads of these. PS1 spidey amounts), collectables, upgrades, "Side-Quests" and general other shit to do.
I'm wondering if they will go with the "Here is your powers and abilities, as you beat more enemies here's more powers and abilities" or some kind of experience based kind of upgrades.
To me spiderman has the potential to be such a fun game, but I guess it comes down to the devs budget/time.
High hopes for this!

Worth noting for those who haven't played, he's wearing an unlocked costume here. There were fucking tons too, it was a great game.
