i dont understand how i got it either, i only browse facebook, and facepunch, and other website that i know are legitimate, and i dont click anything thats obviously spyware and whatnot.
anyways, i was going to do a system restore because thats what i did last time this happened, and it worked fine. except this shit wont even let me open anything in control panel. it just says 'OMG ITS A VIRUS DUN CLICK!!!1!!'
so basically, i'm stuck. it wont let me download or run any programs besides chrome, (firefox doesnt work) and i dont know what the fuck to do.
i'm not bad but i'm not great with computers, and i'd rather this thread not be about how dumb i am, thanks.
I'm fully aware XP antispyware 2012 is malware, but this method worked for me in the past:
Register the antispyware program with the following serial "1147-175591-6550" this should deactivate the warning notification and allow you to download and run a suitable anti-malware application (I suggest Malware Bytes anti-malware)
NOTE TO MODS/ADMINS:
I do realize I've posted a serial in this post, I would like to point out this serial is not in breach of any copyright contract, is not used in any warez related means, and is only to help remove malware which uses illegal scareware tactics to coax potential victims out of their money.
i tried that, and it said that it was invalid.
if you can download something sucessfully, download this:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/
then boot into safe mode (restart and start spamming the f8 key)
then run the program. It should detect it.
Do you got another PC anywhere? Try running the Microsoft standalone system sweeper
It makes your flash drive bootable and scans
If you have another machine, you can just pull the drive out of your machine and put it in the other one and run the scan from there.
On another computer download this: http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/downloads/usbvaccine/
And use it to "vaccinate" your USB flash drive (makes autorun.inf read-only, prevents it from getting infected).
And then download this: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/rkill and MBAM and put them on the flash drive.
Use rkill to disable the malware and MBAM to remove it.

Boot into Safe Mode, run Malwarebytes.
