Whose Line Is It Anyway? is a short-form improvisational comedy TV show. Originally a British radio program, it moved to television in 1988 as a series made for the UK's Channel 4, for a ten-series run. Following the conclusion of the British run in 1998, ABC began airing an American Version, which lasted for eight seasons.

My favorite moments
Also, I was wondering why the name "Meader" seemed familiar. :v:
The 'Horward' song was so god damn good. It's my favourite moment.
The backup dancing and Laura Hall laughing so hard that she hit the speed up button was amazing.

Something you didn't mention was the fact that Colin and Ryan were both actually on the UK version.
But yeah, this show was the shit when I was younger. I would usually skip through most of the musical sequences though, especially if it was only Wayne Brady playing in the skit. Everything else about the show worked except for the solo Wayne musical skits, which in my opinion were a little flat.
Probably one of the best moments on the show was when Ryan was portraying "Carol Channing whose head keeps getting stuck to things" and broke the fluorescent sign on Drew's desk.

Absolute best segment

This was the greatest show ever when I was growing up. The last season or two of the US run were horribad, though. They just used stuff that was cut from the first season or two, making it clear exactly why it was cut in the first place. The rest of the series was pure gold, though.
Oh yea, me and my family, we always watched this show together. Great times they were. Colin's the best when he sings and hes off key so much aha. Just the best, i miss it :(
Who's Garfield do I have to fluff to get this show back in production?
Man, I LOVED watching so much of this show. So much, in fact, that I even made a thread about it long before this one.
Also, I think I had a dream recently where there was new Whose Line, though technically there's the Improv-A-Ganza.
I used to watch this whenever I could.

2 of my favorites.
I always thought Chip was the unfunniest cast member.
I love Whose Line. Haven't watched it in ages though, need to find a DVD or something.
They should really reboot this show, it's so good.

Is it bad that I prefer the US version, only because I like Drew more as a host.
Is it bad that I prefer the US version, only because I like Drew more as a host.
I hated the UK's host.
I always felt like the US version was a lot more lively as well, and it made it so much more fun to watch.
The show where everything is made up and the points don't matter. That's right, the points are just like ratings on Facepunch. They just don't matter.
That box is just part of my test of the validity of that post's claims.
Seems about right.

Whose line is great, though. In my drama class we always work on improvisation, and we tend to take games from that show and sort of simplifiy them for an educational situation.

I always preferred the US version due because I grew up watching the Drew Carrey show which had Drew and Ryan on it.
