Keep going Valve, you're doing really good. Once you get rid of L4D2, we can go back to Half Life 2!
Congrats, Valve.
It's been a platinum hit for a while.
Good, I can't believe people had to pay 60 bucks when it first came out.

It wasn't a Platinum Hit, but it did have a low price.
By the way, I noticed the Orange Box changed to a Platinum Hit icon on my dashboard. How long has that been a Platinum Hit?

On the xbox L4D had platinum hit like 2 weeks before this news came out.
I hate how the new "Platinum Hit" games are $30 instead of $20 like they were every other generation.

Just as the regular price of games is now $60 instead of $50 as it's been for every other generation.

When a game becomes a bestseller (Platinum Hit, Greatest Hit, Player's Choice, etc.), then their price is lowered and they get a new package design. It's kind of like a hall of fame for the best games on a console (obviously if they sold the most then they're the most well-liked) and the reward for the consumer who waited to get the game is a lower price
In short, nothing. It just costs less.
Too bad Left 4 Dead sucks on 360.
