I didn't bother uploading everything to bandcamp again so you guys just have to deal with soundcloud. You can listen to the entire EP as a set from this link: http://soundcloud.com/rayven/sets/mir-ep-1/ OR from this page, because I know you're all too lazy to click the link. i love era, it's okay and the ending piano section of the cold personal favourite would be era, but then again im a sucker for that kinda synth pop thing- however there are a few mastering issues on songs like demento where it sounds a bit muddy overall

What synths did you use?
Nice, it sounds nice. I advise to look up on 80s production techniques because they're a bit more on the ambient side than some of the hardhitting stuff here. I like it a lot though, how long did it take you to do this + what did you use?
What synths did you use?
Mainly Omnisphere.
Nice, it sounds nice. Thanks guys.
Very nice music, but you could change those drums to 80's drum machines. Like Linndrum and TR-909
I like it, but it doesn't sound like the 80's in my opinion
Sounds good man. It's like a mixture of 70', 80's synth pop with some year 2000 spicing. If you want that 80's sound, crank up the reverb.

Thanks! :v: Next time I'll use a buttload of reverb I promise.
this actually sounds a lot like some kind of fucked up stereolab. and yeah guess what my only criticism is, yurko :v:

I made an attempt to 80s up The Cold because I think it's the easiest one to do. It's a superb track, one of your best for sure. Works best with headphones, I wanted to give it that "80s fresh air feeling". Verdict?
which goddamn 80's music are you guys listening to hah?

Sound boss! :v:
I love the 80's synth sounds. Man gotta love them analog synthesizers and all of those things.
I love the 80's synth sounds. Man gotta love them analog synthesizers and all of those things.
Wish I could afford some real analog synthesizers. :v:
I just feel like it's too dry. Too bare. That, and like everyone else said, it does not sound like 80's.
I just feel like it's too dry. Too bare. That, and like everyone else said, it does not sound like 80's.
Alright, cool. Glad you took the time to listen to some of it anyway!
Oh, where's my manners? I forgot to explain how I did like it still and it had a lot of potential it's just a bit too dry for my tastes.
Oh, where's my manners? I forgot to explain how I did like it still and it had a lot of potential it's just a bit too dry for my tastes.
The echo version I made isn't dry. But the original is still a really good track.
