"People will be provided in multiple languages how the process works, they'll have interpreters to answer any questions about how the system works but there won't be taxpayer-funded assistance for people to prepare claims or to make appearances. Let the free market decide who comes to this country and the circumstances in which they come.

He's also looking at ending independent reviews of ASIO security checks upon asylum seekers. Reviews which have overturned false or mishandled checks, preventing people from being trapped in indefinite detention. what are they achieving?

Quite unnerving to think of how many peoples' lives are going to be fucked over just for a politician to appease a racist subset of voters.

The problem is that the government cuts small costs with large impact and keeps large costs with small impact projects. It's like the fighter jets and the college for the military.
