The "Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement" ACTA is an act that would remove what privacy you have left on the Internet.
It is an agreement that has been spearheaded by big business between multiple countries that will hold the ISP responsible for any content hosted, uploaded, or downloaded by its customers. This forces the ISP to monitor every bit of data its customers send and receive.
These countries are also attempting to legalize random unprovoked seizing, searching, and copying of computers, and other devices that holds digital data when brought to airports. They want to take your devices without provocation or reason, so that they can search and copy your entire storage device in an attempt to find infringing material.
On top of this a person could be imprisoned without trial if they are merely accused of thievery by a copyright holder three times.
What you can do:
Get the word out, make youtube videos, update your blog, tell your freinds, join Anti-ACTA groups or update it on Facebook, every little bit helps.
WE ARE A NON VIOLENT GROUP, we are not causing servers to shut down, we are not breaking windows throwing bricks etc. We are simply showing peaceful resistance to this right infringing act.

I was wondering when this was going to get on here, I got the ACTA agreement via that torrent, and it is complete bullshit, now they need no evidence what so ever. Complete bullshit violation of basic rights.

Sorry about that, typed all that up so expect a couple of errors here and there. It would be appreciated if fellow members of FP point them out, Thanks!
Instead of blaming it on the ISP, better methods should be implemented to stop piracy.

It's a complete violation of the fourth amendment of the United States Constitution. Also I'm going to update the flier when my friend sends me a link to the new one.
At Billiam: No I am not, unfortunately.
Constitution? Who gives a crap about that. It's just a fucking piece of paper. MONEY on the other hand...

You should consider adding this to the OP: https://secure.eff.org/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=451
Essentially, they email your senator for you, just enter in a message.

Hey guys, I'm the friend mentioned by Blitzkreig. This whole thing actually started on 4chan. We are working on getting websites set up and will eventually be doing protests. Most likely Black Blocing them.
Black bloc: http://mlcastle.net/raisethefist/bloc.html
By the way: Anything on there about violence shall not be done. We are a non-violent group.

Wheep whoop wheep whoop oxymoron detected
[editline]07:32PM[/editline]
No matter what you want they will end up taking it too far, 4chan is famous for its snowballing effect and regardless of what you may or may not want idiots will eventually get in on this and start spamming "LOL NIGGERS OBAMA'S A FAGGOT ACTA IS FOR GAY PEOPLE!!!"
Gimme an example of a violent act 4chan, or /b/, or any chan has performed. Besides the day /b/ went too far.
Edit: And that's why we have so many admins. We will stop that. And word filters are set up to keep /b/ from being mentioned or niggers, etc.
I'm not talking specifically about violence, but they're notorious for ruining whatever they try to preach by using insane methods.
AKA Spamming pornography, DDoS attacks, macros, spam, they end up looking like frustrated nerds as opposed to people with a valid point.
Right, as of right now THE ONLY thing we are doing is google bombing. We have no sites to DDoS. And no porn is allowed on the forums. That will all stay on /b/.

Just don't get 4chan involved in the official forum, they will only take things way to far.
I just wrote this and posted it on facebook.

Doesn't this kind of go completely against the 4th and 6th Amendments?
So this is only for the USA? Good, then I don't have to do anything about it.
[editline]06:50PM[/editline]
Its like ever since Obama stepped into office, USA has been increasingly aggressive to claim ownership over the internet
This probably won't work
What countrys are in this?
Cause the anti piracy group in my country has anounced they give up lol.
I thought that forcibly removing a persons internet was against their human rights.
Can't remember where i heard that.
Is Canada involved? :S
Doesn't this kind of go completely against the 4th and 6th Amendments?
It completely violates the fourth and sixth Amendments.

This makes sense /sarcasm
I have a feeling this won't happen though.
