I'm interested in this too... especially into downgrading from iphone 4.
There are several methods you can find on google and youtube, but non of them works if you haven't saved your "SHSH blobs" of your previous firmware...
Basically, if you're on 4.3.5 and haven't saved this SHSH blobs shit, you're pretty much fucked.
Either you get several itunes errors or your iphone 4 gets stuck in DFU mode... until you restore back to 4.3.5 again.
If anyone has a seriously working solution for this, please let us know.
You can jailbreak it on 4.3.5 but it's thethered, I did it since I don't mind.
Basicly if you turn it off and on you need to start redsn0w again or keep the phone charged.
