[release] Moscow police have been put on high alert over a suspected bomb planted at the Okhotny Ryad Metro station, after an old lady reported seeing this in a dream. The woman’s tip left no room for doubt about where the information on the bomb came from. Nevertheless police checked the station, located in the capital's center, for explosives, while a fire brigade and a medical emergency crew were waiting nearby. “The tipster may not be of sound mind, but police have a duty to check all such reports, no matter where they come from,” a spokesman for the police explained to RIA Novosti news agency. He added the station operated as normal while the search was carried out. Her teeth are like an earthquake in a graveyard.
google translate? :v:
No, I'm Russian. BTW, that isn't a picture of her.
I'm glad they are taking every precaution. They should investigate ALL claims of bombs/violence, not just ones that sound plausible.
Yeah, this sounds kind of silly but you can't disregard any kind of a tip-off when lives are at stake.

Fuck the TSA we have magic bitches
As I have found out from first hand experiance dreams can help predict future events but I don't think that you can disrupt everyones travel on a hunch from a dream.
As I have found out from first hand experiance dreams can help predict future events but I don't think that you can disrupt everyones travel on a hunch from a dream.
Probably stretching it here, but I think it's possible that someone could want to save lives, but not risk getting linked to the group they were revealing, so they panic and make something silly up like "I saw it in a dream".

Is a babushka a russian gypsy?
Still, given recent world events, I think checking out any major hubs where people will congegrate, especially train stations, would be a good idea regardless. Dont think the Russian police really needed to give us a reason for this though, obviously sounds totally ridicoulous.
Well, better safe than sorry i guess.

Babushka means grandma/granny (doesn't necessarily blood related) in Russian. (Бабушка but you wouldn't be able to read it)
Babushka means grandma/granny (doesn't necessarily blood related) in Russian. (Бабушка but you wouldn't be able to read it)
Why are you rating this man disagrees? Russian is my first language and I can confirm that babushka does mean grandma/old woman.
A bomb, in Babushka? Hmm... ... :crossarms: ... Was the name not a clue?
