I recently purchased a camera for the purposes of recording guitar covers to put onto youtube. Something that I had done before with a camera borrowed from my sister. The method I use for these videos is I will put on headphones or something to mute the PC speakers sound, then play the song through the headphones, and use a video capture software to record only the guitars video and audio. I would then open Adobe Premiere Pro, and load up the MP3 file of the song along with the video, and edit the timing so the video and the audio would synch up. It worked perfect for the first camera I was using, no problem. I'd get the timing down in the beggning and the audio/video would stay synched with the MP3 the whole song. Now with this new camera, the video and audio will start out synced up, but at about 50seconds or so into the video, the videos audio and the MP3s audio becomes out of sync. Resulting in either having to edit the video, cutting out a few seconds to resync it, or just scrapping the whole thing. Does anyone know a way I can fix this? Thanks in advance.
