Gas Powered Games has a long track record of providing incredibly engaging AAA gaming experiences

Demigod
Hah. Seriously though, I don't see any good coming from this, wargaming loves their pay to win games.
Atleast Chris is still going to stay there, hopefully at a top designer level. He's such a good designer. Total Annihilation and Dungeon Siege were my (late) childhood.
Personally I hope whatever's next isn't a free-to-play game. If Wargaming can let GPG do their own thing for the most part then this could end fine.
every new gpg game must have a light anti-german sentiment
No fun for ancestor killers. (while at the same time, people can run in clans named after the NKVD and what not)
I guess World of Tanks must be making a alot of money for Wargaming.net if they're making big time purchases like this because they used to be the small-fry company that nobody cared about.

Like it or not, Wargaming.net and World of Tanks are extremely successful - the fact that the WoT thread in the GGD is still one of the most active threads, despite the game having been around for a pretty long time, says a lot by itself.

Where did they get all that money?
Where did they get all that money?
Anti germany investors and the mafia :v:
