Oh look it has a counter-strike mode
Oh look it has a counter-strike mode
class unlock defuse kit? :v:
I love the current infantry modes such as TDM, Scavenger, GunGame etc. This is great.
I Actually like infantry only and its really fun on maps like sine crossing. Im glad they are trying to implament a competitive game-play mode with the one life idea.
And some content has been cut to add in for DLC. The game looks really good but the fact that there has literally been cut content and they've said it's going to be in the form of DLC really annoys me.
they literally have not they're developing it right now.
They literally are though, people have previewed it already. http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1301143
And Battlefield 2 launched with 12 maps and only 2 modes so what are you bitching about?
They literally are though, people have previewed it already. http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1301143
It's a fucking trailer. How does that prove that the content is "cut?"
It's a fucking trailer. How does that prove that the content is "cut?"
My bad, I thought it was a preview silly me. Pre order bonuses are fucking stupid though.
It's a fucking trailer. How does that prove that the content is "cut?"
"Expansion" Implying it's going to be released later, for money. And your first post said they're developing the game right now. So instead of putting this with the game, they're making it alongside the game so they can sell it later. That's if they're still making the base game itself right now. Just going off your first post.
My god that water is gorgeous
'Obliteration' is a pretty fucking cool name for a gamemode.

The rest of their team is working on post-release content. This is how game development works.

Like I said, just going on your first post in the thread.
Polishing and developing are fairly different. Like I said, just going on your first post in the thread.
Content creation is likely done. Minor things such as floating rocks and stuff are probably still being polished. However that doesn't take an entire team of artists, level designers, etc to do. Most of the team are most likely working on new content for DLC.
3 second teaser: Completely finished omg cut content. Do you seriously expect a team of around 100 people to not be paid for things they create outside the original budget?
It's the fact that they announce and show fully working DLC 2 months before the game is even out which means they've had plenty of time to release it within the game.
it's not always about the timeframe
They should just never release the game, and instead keep it in development to add in expansion content in a perpetual cycle and we never get to play it and also they go bankrupt.

You'll be getting more in the end, and with a good deal if premium is anything to go by.
Defuse sounds like CoD S&D
Defuse sounds like CoD S&D
Yeah CoD invented bomb defusal gamemodes.
10 may sound a little low to some people, but don't worry, there's already 5 DLC packs planned! [editline]27th August 2013[/editline] If you factor in Premium, Battlefield 4 technically costs $110. To get the full Battlefield 4 experience (all the dlc etc) you have to pay $110. That's pretty fucking greedy. Remember when that shit used to get released in free patches or a $30 expansion pack? God those were the days.
Except 2 map packs have more content than BF2/1942 expansions.

But not patches with free content in them.
I remember 30 dollar expansions. But not patches with free content in them.
Well in BF2 and 2142 they released a couple of maps with patches. Maybe 2 to 3 at most if I remember correctly. They eventually made the booster packs free, but that was a long time later.
Honestly by the time I found out about the boosters being free, I could never find a populated server for them. So I can not really say anything about the boosters.
