President Trump’s approval rating is at 39 percent, according to a new poll. The latest Pew Research Center poll released Thursday shows Trump at a historic low compared with prior presidents in their first weeks in office. The poll found just 39 percent approve of his job performance while 56 percent disapprove. Stop with the fake news.
The people who approve of Trump are shy to responding to polling when they feel like supporting him is undesirable, & Trump's demographics are less likely to respond to polling in general (538)
There's still a massive downward trend, regardless of the "shy Trump voter" theory.

:dig:
You know he was being sarcastic, right? ...right?
I honestly can't tell at this point. Prominent posters have said on numerous occasions that polls that reflect badly on Trump are fake.
Too bad the Rassmussion is at 55%, and it is turning out the GOP is using that poll.
Stop having butt as your profile pic
local fursuit avatar has the gall to call people out on their avatars I think as far as the polling goes it would be more productive to post the trends of a single polling source over time than it is to have each thread have a bunch of threads from different polling sources using different methods at different times. Just like sticking in a "here was their polling results two months ago" would help add some perspective of the overall trend according to this polling source.
You know he was being sarcastic, right? ...right?
A course
Too bad the Rassmussion is at 55%, and it is turning out the GOP is using that poll.
Rassmussen oversamples Republicans and "likely voters" tend to naturally be Republican or at least conservative. That said, there is credence to the idea that to some small extent, Trump supporters were underrepresented in polls prior to the election, but who's to say that is still a factor considering he is the president now? My guess is that real approval lies somewhere between Rasmussens consistently-higher numbers and Pew/PPP/Gallup/basically everyone else spread of numbers ranging from drastically lower to moderately lower.
it will be 42% in 2 weeks and he'll tweet about it
it will be 42% in 2 weeks and he'll tweet about it
"Tremendous approval rating gains in 2 weeks. Hillary foiled again, folks! Sad!"
"Tremendous approval rating gains in 2 weeks. Hillary foiled again, folks! Sad!"
A peak into the future.
Until I see these results translated into votes, these polls won't mean anything. Alternative Facts are the new catch 22.
"Tremendous approval rating gains in 2 weeks. Hillary foiled again, folks! Sad!"
I wonder how long Hillary is going to be his scapegoat
I wonder how long Hillary is going to be his scapegoat
He spent a solid chunk of todays press conference whining about Obama.
holy shit hes really saying the country is a total mess because of obama, when by most metrics the country is doing pretty damn good (now we have problems... just not the ones he wants to fix or acknowledge)
I am just gonna assume that 39% of people just completely ignore how Trump acts and the horrible stuff he does.
Oddly enough, Rasmussen polling shows his approval for today at 55 percent. But they refuse to share their polling questions. Additionally, their article about the results of the polling shows a strong conservative bias in the nature of the results they're reporting.
