I'm not sure if this is the correct section but its "Technical Support" so someone might be able to help.
Right so then About a month ago I rearranged my Living room and went back to using a Quad 44 & 405-2 Analogue Stereo Amplifier setup, now this means i need to use the Phono audio connections, and this is where the problem arises, for some reason the Left Channel is outputted as the Right and vise versa.
I Know its the PS3 at fault, as I used a Denon Test Disk in my Yamaha HiFi CD player using the same leads (The amplifier requires a 5 Pin DIN connector for the input) and on the same input. So this means it is definitely the PS3 at fault I'm just not sure what could cause it.
The Audio channels are switched all the time but its not a wiring issue, I can guarantee that.
Could it be to do with the PS3 down mixing 7.1 to 2 Channels? supposedly theres been some issues with the PS3 down mixing since one of the updates?
Anyone have any ideas if this can be sorted, or will it just be a case of swapping the connectors and "making do"?
Have you checked the audio settings in the PS3?
