Hello everyone, I'm having a slight problem with my Mac. It doesn't happen very often anymore but windows seems to crash and black screen on the occasion, it used to happen alot more often but I've just had my hard drive replaced. I don't usually use it for anything more than music creation .e.g. fl studio and browsing the interweb, but it's becoming an annoyance. I have Googled the issue but a majority of posts point to not enough power going to the hard drive? and the rest are just people having problems with the initial setup of Windows and it black screening then.
Thanks for any replies.
Are all the drivers installed correctly for Windows? You can check by right-clicking "Computer" and going on properties, then on the new windows that comes up, click device manager at the top left. If you see any exclamation or question marks in the device manager window, it's missing a driver which could cause instability. Also make sure Windows is up to date, by going into Windows update and running a check. Sometimes driver updates are provided through the "optional updates" section in Windows update, and you should try installing any that are provided in there
Ok thanks for the reply, there doesn't seem to be any problems though.
You may need to reinstall Windows. I don't see how this can be a hardware problem if Mac OSX works fine. Also if you really need access to FL studio there are guides online on how to run it in Mac OSX
