So, my computer has been randomly going black and rebooting, no blue screen or error or anything. This has happened before, and to fix it I've just fiddled with the RAM sticks and it's stopped.
This time though, when it started doing this yesterday, I fiddled around with my RAM sticks again and now it doesn't boot at all, no matter which slot or which single/combination of RAM sticks I'm using.
I figure it's an issue with my motherboard, so I'm going to buy a new one and a new processor cause I need to upgrade anyway - but here's the issue, can I be sure it's the motherboard? If I buy a new one, can I be sure it'll work?
Does it make any beeping sounds when you try to turn it on?

Nah just the standard sounds from the harddrives as far as I can tell.
RAM can be so bad that it can cause a computer to not boot.
When you say it wont boot, as in you cant even get into bios or just cant get into windows?
If you can access the bios you could run a memory test.
Could also try blowing out the RAM slots, and swapping the sticks around.

Can't even access bios, if it helps, my graphic card doesn't appear to run when I have issues with rbm and therefor it doesn't send anything to my monitor.
I have two ram slots and four sticks, been trying every combination I can think of.

I mean it seems my motherboard is faulty, but I have no way to be sure, it most definitely isn't the RAM considering I've been using 2 sticks on 2gb and then have 2 others in reserve and none work in no slot.
I will post specs later if you want them, I'll have to go look at the boxes and stuff cause I don't remember everything.

Does that include no RAM at all? Because what are your results when there is no RAM?

Same as with, no beep or light, computer starts and the harddrives make the same noises as when the computer boots up but I get nothing. I'm gonna pick it apart later tonight, remove the GPU and try with the integrated graphics, and stuff.
Okay so I think it's my graphic card, which is odd because it's the newest (half as old as the rest of the computer) and least likely part of my computer to break down. In any case all evidence points toward it;
I took out my 560ti and put it aside, then I took a 5570 from my little brothers computer and put it instead of the 560ti. My computer worked.
Glad I found the issue I suppose, but that really sucks balls...
Well, to be 110% sure, you can try plugging it into your brothers computer. :V
Registered just because I had the same issue and thought I might help you.
Please make sure the RAM is properly inserted in to the slots. Firmly press (don't force it!) the RAM until it is seated securely in the socket. If your socket has retaining clips, press down until the clips snap back into place. If the RAM isn't properly inserted your computer won't recognize it and any boot attempt will fail.
