So I just upgraded to Windows 7, and one of the first things I did was install 7Zip. Now, when I'm trying to extract a file using the context menu, nothing will happen at all. I have it running as admin, and if I open the 7Zip interface I can extract from there, but none of the context menu entries work. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and that didn't fix anything. I'm running x64, and I know I installed the x64 version. I'm not sure what could be causing this. Any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Ugly closed shit.
Go reinstall 7-zip, make sure you don't have the beta/try the beta if you haven't, and if nothing of that works, download peazip.
Use the newest version (beta), it's faster too.
Alright, so I've tried the latest beta (9.12) as well as the latest stable version (4.65) and I have the same problems for both versions. Any thing else that might cause it?
Why don't you use winrar?

Personal preference. Why does it matter?

Just wondering. Rarely hear of people using anything else than winrar.

Maybe you can set personal preferences aside and get something that works

Or he can keep personal preference to use a program that is free-er, faster, and more customizable with better compression? Winrar is horrible.
Well, I'm not exactly sure what happened, but it's working now. Windows had to reboot, and when I logged back on, it was working. I don't know why that would've fixed anything, though, since it's the second time I restarted after installation... Either way, I guess it's working, so it doesn't matter. Thanks to those who tried to help!
I guess you'd have to be running it as admin and reset the context menu settings.
