Weird Issue with computer shutting down playing games

Specs:
Gigabyte h170m itx
i5 6500
16gb ram
256 sandisk ssd, 256 intel ssd
600w Powersupply (popular one you can get here)
And the important stuff that I think might be the problem is my: Palit 1070 gtx, 27 inch Korean monitor overclocked to 96hz using DVI-D.
My issue is that my pc reboots, no warning, no error message. It has happened in WoW and most recently the Bf1 beta. I have reason to believe it has something to do with running games in fullscreen windowed at 96hz but I do the same for DOTA 2, SQUAD and the Witcher 3 and I haven't had any abrupt reboots.
This morning I played WoW flawlessly for 3 hours, full screen 60hz. I later switched to fullscreen 96hz Vsync on but quit the game before it had anytime to crash. I launched up BF1 to test it out and it rebooted my computer with no warning. The settings were maxed out with 96hz Vsync on.
Does anyone have any experience with the newer generation graphics cards being finnicky with Korean panels?
I will do further testing and run those games at 60hz to come to some sort of conclusion, but I am looking for a fix.
I'd say the first thing to check for are your CPU & GPU temperatures while playing. There's a chance you are simply overheating, a quite common issue.
If they are reasonably low, check the window error log, maybe it can shed some light.

Update: No errors regarding why the shutdown happened, only the shut down having happened was recorded.
I've been playing games at 60hz and haven't crashed yet. I'm thinking it is this combination of a Pascall card and a Korean QNIX Monitor. Before some new drivers, you couldn't overclock the monitor above 81hz or the card wouldn't display it, even on the desktop. I will continue to monitor my results.
