Just got back from seeing the midnight showing of the second movie. All I can is wow... If you liked the first movie, expect this one to be as good or possibly better. Anywho, anyone else seen the movie yet? If so, share your thoughts.
Also how in the bloody hell was that late? I posted immediately after I got home, which was like 5 minutes after the movie ended.

I really liked all the combat scenes. Quite ass-kicking.
I thought it was funny at one point when there was tens of thousands of dollars worth of animation on-screen and I was fixed on Megan Fox slo-mo running.

I really didn't go to this for the dialog. I didn't expect much of a story. I went for robots. It is an absolute CGI, robot fighting, explosion laced piece of mother fucking work, and it has convinced me that is Michael Bay was not a movie director, he'd be a terrorist.
If you're looking for plot or character depth, go somewhere else.
If you're looking for the best god damn jizz ride of cgi robot fighting then go see transformers.

Action was good, storyline was not. I support the notion of Michael Bay to move away from action films but having said that, it isn't a [i]baad[/i] film.
Awesome, CGI, but some of the worst acting in the world. I think it's more the script than the actual actors fault.
Terrible movie, in my opinion.
Bad case of battle fatigue. Battles were hard to follow due to panicky camera shots and unpredictable robot anatomy, plus they took ages. The acting wasn't bad, but the plot made no sense and felt rather 'thrown together', as if five kids wrote a script and they basically took the action scenes of every scripts and turned it into the movie.
If you enjoyed the first movie, this one is rather more of the same, but with a worse plot.
The movie isn't exactly Oscar winning but it achieved what it hoped to achieve: EXPLOSION+FIGHTING ROBOTS+SOME FUNNY PARTS+MEGAN FOX=BKBSJBDJBSKDS
I'm gonna go see this sometime soon. I've been waiting for this all year.

The action was pretty damn good and it had really nice CGI.
But the "humour"...jesus fuck that was dreadful. There's just something not quite right about a [SP]Miniature decepticon dry-humping Megan Fox's leg[/sp]or a[sp]Massive digger / truck / blow-shit-up thing with two metallic transformer balls dangling and clanging[/sp]. They tried too hard in these departments, probably to extend the viewing audience to the younger people and it sorta left me feeling a bit offended at the lack of depth this film coulda so easily potentially enravelled itself in.
Watched it on sunday, it was awesome.
Saw it on monday.
Fighting scenes were pure epic.
Good acting from Shia and the military guys that help him.
Plane acting from Megan Fox :/

Had I not had to go to work, I would have bought another ticket and watched it all over again. Fucking suhweet! Don't go to the cinema thinking you wont enjoy it, just watch it and i'm sure that most of you will have a good time.

Awesome.
I thought it was awesome, definitely the best CGI ever put into a film. A real feel good Summer movie.
I watched the first one, it had some impressive scenes, but nothing more really, so I'm not really pumped about this one.
It's always fun to see robots kick each other senseless.
But however. The dialog, lame ass jokes about robots balls and humping made me me rage.
Not to mention the OBSESSION with america being to only ones able to save the world! With their explosions and crazy future weapons.
The only thing this movie had going for it were it's special effects.
Came out here last Wednesday.
1. Too much battle fatigue.
2. Humour from a Decepticon ruins the whole atmosphere and fear of them.
3. Absolutely 0 character development of the new Autobots.
4. Overly confusing storyline.
5. Some strings aren't tied up.
6. Dragged out too long.
7. The jokes. Aren't. Fucking. Funny.
but all in all, pretty wicked cool movie, good if you just want to see fucking awesome CGI bots bashing each other to bits in orgasmic detail and coolness.
but this show sucks in emotional value, it doesn't make you think, it doesn't deliver any impact after you left the cinema[b]
