Okay, so a few weeks ago I asked you guys what I could upgrade to see a substantial increase in performance with only $250. You all told me to wait until I had more money, and so I did. I now have about $500-600 to spend on upgrading my PC. So back to the original question: What should I upgrade? Currently using: CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 (unlocked to X4) @ 3.5GHz MoBo: ASUS M4A78T-E GPU: ASUS 7850 overclocked RAM: 4GB Corsair DDR3 PSU: Cooler Master 550w Case: Antec 1100 Heatsink: 212+ HDD: 128GB SSD and a 500GB HDD I was thinking an Ivy Bridge overhaul with a single slot, low power dedicated PhysX card (Yes, I do have games that utilize PhysX and I want to play them with PhysX) Any Ideas? The new Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP4 TH looks nice...

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504 ($230) Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293 ($135) Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233202 ($40) Total: $405 As for a dedicated Phys-X card, don't get anything below a GTS 450/550/650 unless it's an 8800 or a 9800. Also, definitely check the power requirements since you are skirting it with a 550w. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814134119 ($108) Also, just carry over your Hyper 212+ to the new mobo. You may need a new bracket though.

Thinking I might go with a 550 ti for dedicated PhysX. Any particular brand that I should go with?
550 ti is an awful card.
Then what do you recommend for DEDICATED PHYSX, not main that's sub $120?
550 ti is an awful card.
For a PhysX card? I was running a 9800 GT as a PhysX card for awhile. I'm pretty sure a 550ti wouldn't be THAT bad.
550 ti is an awful card.
He's running it as a dedicated PhysX card, not as the primary gpu. The 550ti will work fine.
