Nvidia has their share of bad drivers now and then, but AMD is still top dog within murderous drivers.
Worse driver performance and less game-ready releases outshadows the bug count imo.

While all of that is true, nvidia recently did the same thing, it just happened to brick older cards that were til then perfectly viable.
There's no secret AMD has worse performance per line of code, but that's the kind of thing that tends to happen when you have a third of the amount of engineers working on said code. nVidia has [i]generally[/i] been of better quality, but they've also taken a rather noticeable dive over the last two years as they've diverted more engineers to other projects without making up the difference.
