How is Call of Juarez still a thing after The Cartel
Kinda excited. While the Cartel was literally the worst game of all time, Bound in Blood was fantastic, totally underrated. I think with how popular Read Red Redemption was, that people may be more willing to try out a western game, which may have been one of the things that killed off interest in Bound in Blood, considering that it released in that time period when EVERYONE was stroking themselves to all of the modern military shooter games that were still "new" at the time. Honestly hope this is better than the Cartel.
I hope it's better than Bound in Blood. While the gunplay was fun, the FOV was tiny, the graphics options were few, and I hated all of the characters in the game except the guy in black, and then he ruined it by becoming a prissy preacher at the end because he accidentally shot his fuckwit brother (because said fuckwit brother literally jumped in front of his gun to stop him from killing the other brother, who was a massive douchebag anyway)

He didn't "jump in front of the gun" though, he stood in front of it trying to presuade his brother not to destroy the dreams they had build for themselves during the course of the game.
And if you believe that Ray became a prissy preacher you're way off. In the first game, taking place many years after the second, he killed every man standing in his path "in the name of God".
I'm almost 90% sure this is an on-the-rails shooter, like Mad Dog McCree. That's the impression I got when it was first announced ages ago, and with the slightly stylized graphics. It's an Xbox Live arcade/PSN title, too.
