A small earthquake shook north Georgia just after midnight Saturday. According to the U.S. Geological survey, it was 2.5-magnitude earthquake, with an epicenter in McCaysville. Residents in Blue Ridge told Channel 2 Action News it sounded like bomb had gone off. Authorities in the area said they received several calls about the earthquake, but no major damage was reported.
http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local/small-earthquake-rocks-north-georgia/nScRR/ (User was banned for this post ("Misleading thread title" - Orkel))
I didn't feel shit, and im only like a few hours away.
Why does the title say widespread death and carnage confirmed? The article says there is no major damage reported.
Wow, I lucked out. was just up there last weekend. My entire family could have been killed!
Reminds me of that one time when everyone was flipping shit with air raid sirens and whatnot about a weak earthquake twenty kilometers from my town, yet nothing was felt here.
Sensationalist title much?
