No signal from monitor, when coming back from standby

I got a new mobo, and more RAM, and now when I go standby, then turn my computer back on (back from standby) i get no signal from monitor. So I have to shut down every time I walk away from my computer, otherwise I feel guilty about my parent's power bill :P
