Most DX11 problems were fixed week 1.
Shot in the dark here, but if I didn't enjoy the first one will I enjoy this one? The first one felt repetitive to me, like I was backtracking a lot and it didn't have the feeling I wanted. I think I got a little past the part where you fight the thugs on the electric floor (so not very far) and I wasn't motivated to finish.

Its pretty much the same stuff. Combat doesn't feel different and for the most part exploring and climbing is the same.
I would wait for the GOTY edition.
Because they are releasing Harley Quinns revenge at the end of May which takes place after the main game and will probably be a small story arc between the end of Arkham City and whatever the third game is.
I dont want to spoil it for anyone, but trust me, the DLC is going to be insanely good and you should buy this game because its one of the best I have played, rocksteady did the villains and characters so well.
Damn i just bought it two days ago on gamestop for the same price... Great game, shitty drm however.

I've observed otherwise in at least patch 1. Stutter when loading in textures in DX11. Turning the camera resulted in stuttering while loading and gliding caused the same.
This was on my friends high-end system.
I made purchase now anyway, so i'll find out anyway.
